As Austin struggles to recover from the devastation caused by the ice storm, Mayor Kirk Watson has added an emergency item to the city council agenda to discuss the employment of City Manager Spencer Cronk.
“I added the emergency item to the agenda this morning because the management of this situation and the lack of clear, timely and accurate communication has left our community in the dark,” Watson said in a tweet. “It is unacceptable.”
This will be discussed in executive session on during the Austin City Council’s meeting on Thursday.
