No injuries were reported after a train derailed Monday morning in Manor.
According to the Manor Police Department, it happened near the intersection of Parsons Street and Lockhart Street.
No hazardous materials were spilled when the cars derailed. The train was hauling gravel, authorities said.
The derailment forced the closure of San Marcos Street for hours as crews worked to get the area cleaned up.
The cause of the derailment is unknown but it’s one of several involving a train hauling gravel that officials have reported in recent years.
