The Del Vallie Independent School District will host a job fair on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in hopes of filling a number of positions.
The district is looking to hire across all positions, with teacher salaries beginning at $58,000 per year, and bus drivers beginning atg $22 per hours.
Del Valle ISD also offers new hires a week of professional development called Del Valle University, as well as benefits such a fully paid employee healthcare premiums and stipends for specific content areas. Stipends include $7,500 per year for bilingual teachers and $5,000 per year for Special Education teachers. All teachers and staff completing their professional development pathway for the year will also receive an additional $1000 stipend.
The job fair is open to educators, paraprofessionals, maintenance, bus drivers, counselors and anyone else looking for a job in the public education field.
