Aggravated Assault Suspect Nabbed in Round Rock

The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested a Round Rock man on Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Jalen Levon Williams, 30, was identified as suspect in a shooting that occurred in the 1300 block of Zephyr Lane in Round Rock. It was there that authorities were dispatched to a shot’s fired call, and a male who had been reported to have been shot.

The Round Rock Police Department arrived on scene and discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a nearby medical facility.

According to an affidavit filed by Round Rock Police, the incident stemmed from a physical altercation on September 25 at the intersection of Southwestern Trail and Zephyr Lane, where the suspect was described to have fled the scene in a vehicle.

Investigators with the Round Rock Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Williams later that same day.

On Oct. 16 members of the task force arrested Williams in the 9700 block of Brown Lane, and he was later booked into the Williamson County Jail.
