President Trump signed a wide array of executive orders as soon as he was inaugurated, the first weekend of Sixth Street allowing traffic again has received mixed responses and Austin Energy has secured a $15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to increase access to EV charging stations.

 

WEDNESDAY 1-22-25: The Right to Birthright Citizenship

Shortly after President Trump signed an executive order stopping birthright citizenship multiple states & cities sued claiming the order is unconstitutional, multiple Texans were included in the broad pardon of Jan 6 attendees by President Trump and the President issues a scathing response to the bishop that gave the sermon at the inaugural prayer ceremony.

THURSDAY 1-23-25: Stay In Your Laine

Austin City Council District 6 Member Krista Laine has been found guilty of violating campaign finance rules, the Texas Legislature has proposed $4.85 billion in new funds for public schools and President Trump is clamping down on getting federal remote workers back to the office.

 

FRIDAY 1-24-25: Republicans Working Hard 

The Trump Admin continues to deport more criminal illegal aliens and Sec of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth might be confirmed soon.
