A Oregon born CBD business is pulling up roots and replanting its headquarters in Austin. Socati Corp. officials said Austin’s workforce is driving factor in the move and believes Texas farmers looking to grow Hemp will help spur the state on as a major player in the hemp industry.
Socoti Corp CEO Josh Epstein said he sees Texas as a future major player in the Hemp Industry, “we think Texas has the opportunity to be a very significant player in the hemp world, that’s from a cultivation standpoint…we contract for farms so we think down the road this’ll be a great place to partner with farmers.”
Epstein explained from a corporate side, Austin talent pool was a good fit, “there’s a real need for the talent that a city like Austin has available, in the area that we are in. That’s technology, that’s also in the ingredients world for various categories of products that our ingredients are going into.” He believes the Austin HQ will host up to 50 staffers.
Socati Corp is a consumer package goods ingredient manufacturer whose primary ingredient is Hemp extract.
