3-D Gun printer Cody Wilson gets probation

Travis County DA Margaret Moore’s office announces Cody Wilson, the former head of the untraceble 3D gun printing company Defense Distributed has been sentenced to 7 years probation and will have to register as a sex offender. Wilson was charged with having sex with a teen girl at an Austin hotel last year.

The former head of Austin-based untraceable gun 3D printing company, Defense Distributed, has been sentenced to seven years probation.  Cody Wilson was arrested last year over allegations he had sexual relations with an underage girl at an Austin hotel.  

He fled to Asia but was captured and brought back to Texas.
