Austin Disaster Relief Network responds to Hurricane Dorian

Hurricane Dorian has devastated thousands of people’s lives in the Bahamas and the US East Coast. The Churches of Greater Austin run non-profit, Austin Disaster Relief Network is collecting donations of money and supplies for care kits to send to those in need. 

Needed items include:

 -Towel (if family kit, purchase 4)
– Washcloth (if family kit, purchase 4)
-Soap
-Tissue
-Toothbrush (If family kit, purchase 4)
-Toothpaste
-Deodorant (If family kit, purchase 4)
-Feminine Products (family or female version only)
-Shampoo
-Comb (if family kit, purchase 4)
-Blanket (if family kit, purchase 4)
-Pillow (as many as you can fit in if it is a family kit)
-Wipes
 *Baby Bottles/Formula (with baby version only)
 *Diapers (with baby version only)
 *Baby Food (with baby version only)
 **A note of encouragement for the family or individual (children write wonderful notes!)

You can help by collecting items for a care kit and putting them in a sturdy plastic container with a fitted lid, then dropping it off at the Hope Family Thrift Store Monday from 10a-5p at the receiving dock. You can also make a financial donation by following the link below.
