Austin gas prices have fallen 5-cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.20 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 830 stations. Gas prices in Austin are 1.3-cents per gallon lower than a month ago, yet stand 4.4-cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Austin is priced at $1.96 per gallon today while the most expensive is $2.78 per gallon. The lowest price in the state today is $1.98 per gallon while the highest is $3.49 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 1.6-cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.58 per gallon today.
