Hispanic voters in Texas are expected to play a huge role in the 2020 election.
The Statistical Analysis System Institute, or SAS, used Census Bureau numbers for its new study, which shows Texas voter demographics are shifting. Steve Bennet with SAS says that was very apparent between 2016 and 2018.
And Bennett says the Hispanic voting population in Texas could outnumber white voters by 2022.
