Austin Mayor Pro Tem Delia Garza could run for Travis County Attorney next year. Garza supporters have filed paperwork to draft her nomination. Garza tells the Statesman she’s considering running. Mayor Steve Adler and Councilmember Greg Casar and a who’s-who of local progressive democrats are among her supporters. County Attorney David Escamilla is retiring at the end of the year.
