USMS offer $10,000 reward for fugitive wanted on federal drug charges

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Marshals Service is seeking the public’s help in locating a man wanted for possession and distribution of cocaine charges in the Southern District of Texas.

Victor Hugo Gomez, 43, along with others in the Houston/Galveston area, is alleged to have been part of a conspiracy dismantled in March through a multiagency investigation dubbed Operation Wrecking Ball.

Gomez, who is from the Dominican Republic, may have fled the U.S. or could be hiding out in Texas.  He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  He should be considered armed and dangerous.

The U.S. Marshals are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to Gomez’s arrest.  Anyone with information about his whereabouts may submit a tip to http://www.usmarshals.gov/tips
