You’re So Smart, You Fix It! City of Austin Launches Transportation Solutions Program

• The city of Austin is looking for solutions for transportation needs by launching a program with the Ford Motor Company
• The program, called City:One Challenge, seeks to crowdsource ideas to help ease congestion in Austin and potentially fund a pilot program of the best ones
• The city so far is asking citizens for information on how they get around in Austin
• The challenge will accept proposals beginning September 10^th and provide up to two ideas with up to $100,000 to create a pilot program
• The best ideas will be announced in January of next year
