Austin police will stage another crackdown on the state’s ‘Move Over Law’, requiring you to either move over a lane or slow down 20 miles an hour below the speed limit whenever emergency vehicles are on the side of the road. APD Detective Patrick Oborski says tow trucks are considered to be emergency vehicles and have been since 2013.
Eighteen APD officers will gather down in Buda and then fan out, likely within the far southern city limits of Austin.
