Travis County moves ahead with increasing wages for county employees.  While not specifically calling it a “minimum wage,” the county would like to see public employees paid no less than $15-an-hour to address the rising cost of living in the area.  County Judge Sarah Eckhardt calls this a “six-million dollar decision.”
Commissioners gave their approval toward budgeting appropriately for next year.
