City leaders are considering ways to overhaul the ARCH shelter in downtown to offer a more housing-focused approach. Mayor Steve Adler says there hasn’t been enough done to lessen the dependency on shelter beds.
The city says the ARCH may undergo a change over the next year to bring it in line with the new case management-focused model to be used at the new South Austin shelter.
