As Austin City Council comes back from taking July off, Councilmember Kathie Tovo has a couple of items they’ll consider. One is what’s called a Local Government Corporation to help find more money for homelessness programs.
The other item is an Economic Development Corporation which would help the city with obtaining properties for affordable housing. The council could take those up those this week.
