Austin Police officials said there have been 45 reported incidents of Road Rage since the begin of the year. APD Det. Robert Snider said of those cases they’ve only made 9 arrests. Snider said sometimes people don’t want to move forward with the investigation, sometimes leads runs out and there is no more info to follow up on.
Snider also mentions several of these incidents involved firearms. He said if you are a victim of road rage call 911, stay on the line and give details of what is happening and what the perpetrator looks like and what they are driving.
