Overrun of Trash in Barton Creek Greenbelt Prompts Addition of Dumpsters

Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department will add three dumpsters along the Barton Creek Greenbelt due to an overrun in trash
The Gaines, 360 and Zilker trailheads will each get a dumpster indefinitely
Each dumpster will be paid for through the Parks and Recreation Department’s maintenance budget and cost about $100 a month
The Parks and Recreation Department plan to add the dumpsters for right now and may add recycling bin in the future
