It will be known as iSports Cedar Park, a 206,000 square foot facility complete with indoor and outdoor ball fields, two ice hockey rinks that are NHL regulation-sized, and other amenities that include retail, restaurants, family friendly events, and even an area dedicated to sports medicine. It’s on track for a possible 2020 opening, and once it is up and running, locally owned Chaparral Ice will operate some of the facilities. A groundbreaking ceremony is set for Wednesdat morning (May 22nd).
