Travis County leaders approve a pilot program that will provide free rides for jurors. Capital Metro will provide 500 free passes a year and will be reimbursed 70-percent by the county. County commissioners say it will also help reduce congestion a little bit. However, Commissioner Gerald Daugherty is worried some people may take advantage of this program so he has requested quarterly reports for monitoring.
