- The hotly contested Drag Queen Storytime was held at the Leander Public Library over the weekend
- The Open Cathedral Church took over hosting the event after the Library dropped the event due to backlash from the community
- However, the event was changed to family pride and story time as the scheduled drag queen performers could not make it
- About 130 people attended the event inside while 275 demonstrators either protested or rallied for the event
- City representatives said there were no arrests nor any injuries they were aware of
