Could Travis County be the next measles hot spot?

A new study released this week by the University of Texas and Johns Hopkins University shows Texas may be on the brink of a measles epidemic.  The study’s lead author, Sahorta Sarkar, says the anti-vax movement has not done society any favors, so now he thinks it’s time that state lawmakers step in.
 
Travis County is ranked number 22 in the nation for areas deemed most at-risk for a major measles outbreak.
