Austin City Council Considers New Homeless Shelter

  • The Austin City Council is considering opening a small homeless shelter
  • An exact location has not been named but South Austin seems to be the prime area
  • As the homeless population in Austin increases, the city is seeking new places to house them
  • There is also consideration for more shelters to be open as well
