Union pushing for 10 percent teacher pay raise

Now that Texas Lawmakers have passed school finance reforms, Austin ISD employees’ union Education Austin is getting ready for a fight for 10 percent pay raises.

Union President Ken Zarifis says they’ll be speaking with district officials tomorrow, hoping to sort out just what support AISD will be getting from the state before they talk about pay.
