Schools in Texas will look and act differently under a sweeping school safety measure passed by the state House this week. Representative Greg Bonnen, who represents Santa Fe where ten people died last year in a school shooting, says one of the key provisions includes the establishment of school threat assessment teams.
It also calls for the TEA to come up with a statewide standard for school building construction in which architecture is designed with student safety in mind.
