A former San Marcos High School teacher is wanted by police for sleeping with a student eleven years ago.
San Marcos Police say they’ve issued arrest warrants for 34-year-old David Ross Guerrero who was an English teacher and assistant coach on the girl’s soccer team. Detectives determined Guerrero had sex with a victim six separate times. Guerrero left San Marcos High School in 2013 and currently resides in Colorado, He faces sexual assault of a child and improper relationship charges. Investigators think there could be more victims and are asking them to come forward.
