Online job search giant Indeed has plans to move into a new office building in the Domain.

According to a company representative who spoke with the Austin Business Journal, Indeed will be moing into the five-story, 184,000 square-foot building by the end of the third quarter of this year.

“We are committed to growing in Austin, a city that is a proven tech hub with excellent access to talent and a community that encourages innovation,” said Indeed President Chris Hyams. “As one of Indeed’s founding cities, it has been a great place to grow our organization over the past 13 years as we’ve helped millions of job seekers find new opportunities.”

Indeed first announced its plan to expand its Austin presence last year, also announcing that it would be creating 3000 new jobs over the coming years.  The company currently employs around 1600 workers in Austin, and the expansion now has Indeed poised to become one of the largest private employers in the city.

“Indeed is a hometown success story and a great example of what type of innovation and opportunity find root here in Austin,” said Mayor Steve Adler.

Indeed was founded in Austin and Stamford, CT in 2004.
