Four people are charged in connection with the beating of a gay couple in downtown Austin. Austin Police Assistant Chief Eli Reyes says thanks to a Crimestoppers tip, Frank Macias was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault.
Also arrested was Quinn O’Connor who faces those same charges.
Two more suspects, Miguel Macias and Kolby Monell, were arrested by Police late yesterday and charged with aggravated assault. DA Margaret Moore says it will be prosecuted as a hate crime.
