There’s another push to bring high-speed rail to Texas. A bill filed last week would form a new interim legislative committee to study the issue. Peter LeCody with Texas Rail Advocates says people want this option.
The latest private company looking at building high-speed rail is Virgin Trains backed by Richard Branson. It’s looking at a route that would connect Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.
