Area eateries are switching up practices to keep up with the notice. While some are content, others are taking items off the menu, or in the case of drinks switching to canned.
Restaurant Depot is an area supply store for businesses, and it’s Branch Manager Dale Hunter said the city’s boil water notice made a big impact on his customers. Like most, water flew off the shelves. He says 32 pallets worth were gone on the first day.
Other restaurants have bought up more disposable plates, cups and silverware, to replace the need for washing dishes.
