Austin local leaders are getting excited over the Project Connect vision maps that Cap Metro Board Members adopted today. Although the vision has altered considerably in the past few weeks to include more possible rail lines or autonomous bus lines, State Senator Kirk Watson is keen on solving traffic congestion but he’s not about to quibble over details such as modes of transit.
With the board’s approval engineering and environmental studies can begin.
