Smartasset.com rates San Antonio at the top of the chart when it comes to hosting conventions, but Austin wasn’t too far behind at number four on the list. Nan Beauvais is with the U.S. Travel Association and says the convention trade is big business. She says Texas also does well in attracting convention business because of the great air travel connections in the state.
