The Columbus Crewe is staying put. The soccer team that was to relocate to Austin will remain in Columbus under new ownership. The group that now owns the Crew also has a stake in the Cleveland Browns NFL football team.
There’s speculation that former owners Precourt Sports Ventures will get an expansion MLS soccer team for Austin, but no word on when that might happen.
