The Transportation Department has released a list of recommendations that could soon become a part of a city ordinance, many of which deal with the safety aspect of riding an electric scooter. Jason Jon Michael with the Transportation Department said at a recent meeting that it’s important people know what they’re doing since so many are novice riders.
Safety recommendations include capping speed limits at 15-miles per hour, as well as making sure these scooters only have one rider on them at a time.
