New reporting requirements for inappropriate relationships have helped shed a lot more light on public school teachers, but the same can’t be said for private schools where, in some cases, the Texas Private School Association said teachers are hired with a history of bad behavior, unbeknownst to private school administrators.
State Senator Paul Bettencourt said that do not hire registry will be proposed part of an expansion of current reporting requirements to better protect private school students.
