Governor Abbott may be in Houston today, but it’s a good bet that his mind will be on Austin and Dallas. Abbott’s scheduled to attend the grand opening of a new Amazon Fulfillment center in Houston where he’s expected to continue to push for the Amazon 2nd headquarters.
Both Austin and Dallas made their 20-city short-list. The big payoff would be a $5 billion investment by Amazon and 50-thousand high-paying jobs.
