The 2018 Labor Day No Refusal initiative has come to an end. This latest initiative was conducted from August 17 thru September 3, 2018 and ran daily from 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this period, 210 arrests were made for driving while intoxicated offenses:
Total DWI arrests during No Refusal period = 210
Blood Search Warrants: 110
Consent Breath Samples: 63
Consent Blood Samples: 37
Of those arrests, the following number had enhanced DWI charges:
Consent Breath Samples over .15= 34
Class A Misd DWI (with prior conviction) = 14
Felony DWI (2 or more prior convictions) = 15
Felony DWI Child Passenger = 8
