40 new Austin Police Officers are patrolling the city’s streets. The Police Academy’s latest batch was recently welcomed officially into APD’s ranks. And as activists fight to siphon funding away from the department, newly pinned officer Adam Korody remains optimistic. Korody says everyone is entitled to their opinions and recognizes that not everyone has had a great interaction with police.
