31 Dead in One of California’s Most Destructive Wildfires, Florida Conducting Recounts for Governor, Senator & Agriculture Commissioner, WilCo Sheriff’s Office Arrests Suspect in Package Robberies

Wildfires surging in California

Hour one of the Todd and Don Show:  

• Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said the Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man they believe has been stealing packages and guns in the Teravista neighborhood and who may be connected to several thefts in Williamson County and other surrounding jurisdictions

• Law enforcement evacuated the Buc-ee’s in Bastrop after a bomb threat on Sunday afternoon but no evidence of an explosive device was found and officials are still investigating

• Pete Davidson apologized to Congressman-Elect Dan Crenshaw on SNL for comments made last week


Hour two of the Todd and Don Show:

• WeWork, which operates five spaces in Austin and has a sixth on the way, is reportedly working on a $1 billion project that would enhance the Waller Creek area of downtown Austin

• TECH NEWS:

– Facebook is ending its policy of requiring employee sexual-harassment claims to be settled in private arbitration

• The Texas State Board of Education meets this week to approve “streamlined” social studies curriculum standards
