The Electric Reliability Council of Texas says it has plenty of power to make it through the winter season. ERCOT officials say new power generation is coming online, including solar, wind and natural gas power plants. Winter can be a tricky season to predict because there are vastly different power needs in different parts of the state as the weather changes.
