The Austin Round Rock Metro ranked near the middle of the top 50 major metros when it comes to international investment in area homes. And for local buyers going with a mortgage that’s a problem as most Foreign buyers come with cash in hand.
The Texas Association of Realtor’s Kaki Lybbert said when home buyers have cash ready to go, it makes the deal easy, fast and hard for them to pass up.
Lybbert reports Austin ranks 26th in the nation for foreign home buyers, and third in Texas behind Houston and Dallas.
