A near-billion dollar bond election is not necessarily going to be a slam dunk when the council returns to session.
While the city council has chosen to go big with a possible $925-million bond package, there’s still a lot of hesitation over the possible tax implications. But Mayor Steve Adler says that’s part and parcel for a city trying to stay afloat while dealing with taxes within the Austin school district:
