• APD is pleading with the city for more officers and states the department is 84 officers short. They would like to get 168 officers in the next 5 years

• Dan Patrick plans to donate 10 metal detectors to Santa Fe Independent School District

• The Education Fund and Frontier Group of the U.S. Public Interest Research Group labeled nine projects across the country as “highway boondoggles” and state expansions often “do little to reduce congestion or address real transportation challenges”
