The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a No Refusal Initiative that will coincide with the upcoming Independence Day holiday. This initiative will be in effect from July 4 – 6, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. each day.

The sheriff’s office says the initiative is an effort to increase public awareness of the dangers of driving while intoxicated and to encourage drivers to make responsible decisions.

“One crash is too many, and one fatality is too great.  In Williamson County, a DWI equals a ride to jail because we truly care about you and our community. Drive Responsibly! Don’t Drink and Drive!” said Sheriff Robert Chody.
