Longtime Death Row inmate Rodney Reed has filed a new appeal after the Supreme Court this week rejected his petition for more DNA testing in the 1996 Bastrop County murder of Stacy Sties. Reed has consistently maintained his innocence. His new filing with the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals claims that expert opinions that have been used by the state were not only false but have also changed over time.
