CTRMA is throwing its early support behind a plan to assist Capital Metro in moving its Kramer Lane station 1/2-mile north, closer to the Domain. The partnership could include $7.7-million from the mobility authority. CTRMA’s Jeff Dailey says a partnership like this would significantly boost ridership on the Metro Rail.
The Kramer station is among the least-used because of its location just outside of the North Burnet corridor.
However, CTRMA says it is not willing to provide the $7.7-million Cap Metro needs unless there is a significant return on investment.
