A Travis County Sheriff’s Office dive team is expected received work this morning out at Bob Wentz Park after a man went missing this weekend while standing out on a sandbar. Jonestown police are also helping in that search. Officials say the Hispanic man in his 20s was seen standing on the sandbar, his friends say they lost vision of him after a short while. He was last seen wearing black and red swim trunks.
It’s the fourth call about a missing person officials have been called out to on Lake Travis this year.
