• A $100 million lawsuit was filed in the duck boat incident that killed 17 people on a Missouri lake this month and lawyers representing those who lost loved ones say their goal is to ban what they described as amphibious “death traps.”
• TECH NEWS:
-8 states are suing the Trump Administration to stop the release of blueprints of 3D printed guns
-Two California residents are suing a state senator for blocking them from a social media account
– The Department of Homeland Security says cybercriminals are targeting so-called Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, which typically hold a company’s most sensitive data and critical business processes
•The Downtown Austin Alliance are expanding a program that tries to help service-industry workers and allows them and other evening workers to apply to use certain government parking garages after hours at a discounted rate

• VIRAL VIDEO: In Round Rock on I-35, two men got out of their cars to get into a so-called fight
• Florida gun owners have been ordered to give back guns under a new law, “Risk Protection Order”, which temporarily strips gun owners of their gun rights and hardware if a judge deems them to be a threat to themselves or others

•The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) now prohibits the use of cigarettes, cigars and pipes in all public housing units and common areas
• McDonald’s is marking the 50th anniversary of its Big Mac sandwich by offering a limited-edition “global currency,” dubbed MacCoin, that can be redeemed for a Big Mac
• A 46-year-old man had his legs crushed by a barrier during a demolition derby in Utah as cars piled on top. Onlookers came to his rescue to pull the cars and barrier off of him
