Officials are investigating a train derailment that happened in downtown Manor Tuesday morning, leaving a mess scattered all over the tracks.
Several cars reportedly went off the track around 4:40 a.m. that were carrying sand and dirt, officials said.
The derailment happened off of San Marcos Street. Weather is believed to be the cause.
It’s estimated the cleanup will take 1-2 days to complete. The tracks are expected to remain closed throughout the cleanup.
No injuries have been reported.
